As part of the Georgia-Pacific annual outage, Blue Wolf was selected to perform automated evaporator and concentrator cleaning over A, B & C lines. Blue Wolf was also tasked with performing recovery boiler smelt bed removal and high-volume water blasting to remove salt cake from upper furnaces and refractory removal from the crotch seal. Other activities included supporting vacuum and hydroblasting of various Tanks, lime kilns, and exchangers throughout the mill.

Blue Wolf was also tasked with performing high volume water blasting to remove salt cake from upper furnaces and refractory removal from the crotch seal. Other activities included supporting vacuum and hydroblasting of various tanks, lime kilns, and exchangers throughout the mill.
Cleaned individual dryer bearings, gearbox casings, lube oil reservoirs and lube oil headers for multiple International Paper locations across the United States. Paper machines are highly susceptible to contamination build-up due to open vents on lube oil. Drain lines, labyrinth seals, water drains, glands and oxidation formed from higher viscosity oil on slow moving gears and bearing. BW’s team identified trouble spots and performed turnkey services including, oil filtration, reservoir cleaning, bearing and header flushing techniques to get your lubricant flowing smoother to decrease your bearing temperatures and extend uptime.
Blue Wolf was contracted to engineer and execute a steam blow of the main steam header assuring all debris was removed prior to putting the steam back on-line to the plants turbo-generator. The BW personnel executed the steam blow during the Christmas – New Year Holiday week to accomodate an ideal turnaround window for the client.
